I know how it goes. You pull up your workout on your app, slap in your earbuds, and get to work. You’ve got your gym, there may be familiar faces, but you don’t know anyone there - and nobody seems to want to get to know you either. You’ve developed a habit of keeping your blinders on, focusing on you and your form, and in between sets, your face is buried into your phone.
While this is all well and good, and is mighty effective, I think we can do better. I think we can start to be better people to workout with, rather than work out around.
Real or Bullshit
We all see it. The influencer on the apps who’s doing something apparently new and different at the gym, or with their nutrition, and aren’t 100% sure if it’s pure bullshit, hype, or if there’s some element of truth to what they’re saying (or selling).
Now, we can vet stuff amongst ourselves. You get a professional coach (Coach Thom) to gawk at stuff and sift through with trained eyes to help determine if what you’re seeing/hearing/reading is bullshit or sensible. You also get to input your comments, ideas, and thoughts as well.
Science, Facts, Truth
It’s my job as Coach to continuously learn and read up on the latest science and research coming out of the fitness community. Here we get to share that info, collaboratively read and understand what is being discovered, and discuss ways that the information informs our training.
What’s included?
This isn’t a replacement for your workouts.
It isn’t a meal plan.
It’s not coaching as you know it, really.
This is a next-level kind of engagement experiment.
I’m sick of re-making the wheel for myself and my clients, and I know there are some smart, savvy, amazing gym rats out there who are making moves and doing things that they’ve learned about, and had great results from, on their own fitness journeys. I also know the internet is full of junk and noise around health and wellness, and I’m tired of fighting the stupid. I bet you are too.
We have a lot of knowledge among us, and I want to build a space for us to share what we know, learn from each other, and support each other along our individual paths.

Chat with other gym rats and fit-bros about your routine, nutrition, habits, struggles, and all the rest. Share photos, videos, content you find that inspires you. Engage with other people who are not at the start of the journey, but who are well along their own pathways.
